Gauge Dampers

In the case of pressure measurements of pulsating fluids, a gauge damper should be fitted between the pressure gauge and the pipe. The gauge damper can absorb pressure fluctuations (pulsation, surge pressure, etc.) to make it easier to read the pressure gauge and to prolong its service life.
